Privacy, plainly.
We don’t collect your personal information. Here is exactly what happens when you use this site.
- No accounts, no cookies, no trackers. We don’t use advertising or social-media scripts.
- No analytics yet. If we add visitor statistics later, they will be anonymous and aggregate (for example Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies), and this page will say so first.
- Your calendar choice (if you pick a national calendar) is saved only in your own browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.
- Search runs entirely in your browser. Your search words are not sent to us.
- The report form doesn’t send or store anything. It only prepares text for you to copy.
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against attacks.
- Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties.
- Videos. Lessons show a video card that loads nothing from YouTube until you press play. When you press play, the video loads from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube’s own privacy policy then applies to that video. Each card also offers a plain link to watch on YouTube instead.
- Printable PDFs are plain files served from this site.
- Mailing list. The signup forms are not connected yet, so nothing you type in them is sent or stored. When the list opens, it will ask only for your email address and which emails you want, it will use double opt-in (one confirmation email, and nothing else until you click its link), every email will have a one-click unsubscribe, and we will never sell or share your address. This page will name the email provider we use before the list opens.
- Links to other sites (vatican.va, MassTimes.org, Universalis, Vatican News, parish giving pages) are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.
